WELCOME TO BIBLE READING TIME BLOG
Here, we will be reading the Principles drawn from each of the Chapter you read per day. we shall not repeat a summary of what you have read but draw up some principles from the chapter you read on a daily basis.
Our goal is to help you grow in your daily walk with Jesus so that you stop conforming with the world but transformed by the Word of God through the renewal of your mind. Romans 12 verse 1-2
We know in part and have a privilege of sharing with you. Bringing the different parts together makes a whole which can transform you to be who God has designed you to be on earth.

SCRIPTURAL PRINCIPLES FROM THE GOSPEL OF JOHN THE BELOVED

JOHN CHAPTERS 1-21
 

CHAPTER ONE

Jesus came to the world to fulfil destiny Jn.1:1

John the Baptist fulfilled his own part of the deal by announcing Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. John the Baptist was the fore runner of Jesus. He came to prepare Israelites hearts and minds for the promised Messiah. Jn.1:19-28

Andrew came to Jesus and invited his brother, Peter, to Jesus as well. Likewise Philip invited Nathaniel to Jesus

PRINCIPLES:

1.      Every born again child of God is meant to fulfil a destiny on earth

2.      Every purpose of man which does not point or direct men to God through Jesus is an ambition that will not last.

3.      As children of God we must tell others about Jesus and bring them into the kingdom.

CHAPTER TWO

Jesus with His Mother and disciples were invited to wedding in Cana of Galilee.

Jesus performed the first miracle in the wedding feast.

Jesus cleared the temple of people who were buying and selling in the house of God.

PRINCIPLE:

1.      We must obey our Parents in the Lord regardless of our age and status in life.

2.      Obedience give birth to miracles

3.      Our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit the moment we give our lives to Jesus. We do not belong to ourselves anymore but to God almighty.

CHAPTER THREE

Jesus preached the doctrine of being born again to a religious leader.

After John the Baptist fulfilled his assignment of making Jesus known to the Israelites, he accepted the fact that the ministry of Jesus must increase while his decreased.

PRINCIPLE:

1.      Being born again is not a Pentecostal doctrine as some category of Christian teaches. It is a doctrine of our our Lord Jesus Christ.

2.      As a child of God, you must allow the Word of God to take deep root in your heart so that your life is daily transformed and Jeus be seen in you by all

CHAPTER FOUR

Jesus had a chat with a Samaritan woman after requesting for water from the same person. Ordinarily Jews do not have anything to do with Samaritans but Jesus did. Jesus assignment is full of compassion for humanity in order to get them out of their misery.

The Samaritans saw no miracles before they accepted Jesus into their territory.

Jesus healed the child of a Jewish leader who believed in Him.

PRINCIPLE:

1.      The category of people God look out for are those who worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

2.      It doesn’t matter how far you are in sin, Jesus loves you and desires that you repent and surrender your life to His Lordship.

3.      Tell others about Jesus just as the Samaritan woman did.

4.      No matter the level of sickness or disease, Jesus can heal.

CHAPTER FIVE PRINCIPLE

1.      Only Jesus can heal the sick

2.      Jesus does not joke with His relationship to the Father. That is what empowers and encourages Him to travel far in ministry

3.      Personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the most vital key to a life of success without stress.

4.      Without Jesus, you are a walking corpse.

CHAPTER SIX PRINCIPLES

1.      Do not look for Jesus because of temporary things that does not last but because of eternal value added to your life.

2.      Jesus is the Bread of life.

3.      Holy Communion must be treated with utmost regard and honour as it is the body of Jesus and His blood broken and shed for us.

4.      Stick with Jesus all the way. Not just when you have issues to resolve but make Him your best companion ever.

CHAPTER SEVEN PRINCIPLES

1.      Jesus always take steps according to the will of the Father.

2.      Nobody can terminate your life until you fulfil destiny if you walk according to instructions and divine Principles.

CHAPTER EIGHT PRINCIPLES

1.      Jesus saved a woman from death sentence.

2.      Jesus is the light of the world.

3.      When we continue with Jesus through the study of the Bible and daily meditation we shall be Hid true disciples.

4.      Lie is a terrible vice and the devil is the father of lies.

CHAPTER NINE PRINCIPLES

1.      With Jesus, creative miracle is possible

2.      Jesus is the Light of the world

3.      You must beware of spiritual blindness

4.      A times our testimony builds up enemies against us.

CHAPTER TEN PRINCIPLES

1.      Jesus is the Good shepherd.

2.      Figuratively as sheep, we must obey Jesus in all things.

3.      Jesus true disciples hears His voice, He knows them by name and they follow Him.

4.      Although debated then and now, Jesus is the Son of God.

CHAPTER ELEVEN PRINCIPLES

1.      JESUS is truly the resurrection and the life

2.      In the name of Jesus Christ, every dead potential in me come back to life.

3.      Children of the world and of the devil will try to put out your life when Jesus is lifting you up but be of good cheer Jesus has overcome the world and has destroyed the works of the devil.

CHAPTER TWELVE PRINCIPLE

1.      Jesus said ‘’If any man serve me, let him follow me and where I am, there shall my servant be and my Father will honour him.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN PRINCIPLE

1.      To be a true leader, you must be willing to serve all

2.      Jesus had His last supper with disciples on earth

3.      Jesus knew his betrayer and predicts that Peter would deny Him thrice. Are you in anyway denying Jesus? Are you in anyway betraying Jesus?

CHAPTER FOURTEEN PRINCIPLE

1.      Jesus has gone home to heaven to prepare a place for you and I.

2.      Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Him and no one can come to Jesus except the Father draws him or her

3.      The Holy Spirit is a promise of Jesus Christ to all who believe in Him

4.      The Holy Spirit is the perfect teacher and perfect reminder.

CHAPTER FIFTEEN PRINCIPLES.

1.      Without Jesus we cannot achieve anything and if we achieve anything outside Jesus it cannot stand the test of time.

2.      You are a friend of Jesus if you practice the Word of God.

3.      Be a missionary for Jesus: Do not just win the soul but disciple them.

4.      The world and its system hates Jesus hence they will not like your face as a disciple of Jesus

5.      The Holy Spirit is a promise which had been fulfilled and is still available to all who accept Jesus as Lord and saviour.

CHAPTER SIXTEEN PRINCIPLES

1.      Holy Spirit will expose sin, prove that the world is wrong about God’s righteousness and judgement.

2.      Holy Spirit guides into all truth, shows us things to come, Glorify Jesus by receiving from Him and showing us things to come.

3.      In the world there would be tribulation but in Jesus we will have peace.

4.      As disciples of Jesus we have overcome the world.

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN PRINCIPLES

Jesus prayed for all disciples as follows:

1.      That the Father should keep us in His name

2.      That we should be one as He and the Father are one

3.      That the father should keep us from evil.

4.      That the Father should set us apart by His Truth

5.      Oneness of all disciples is very vital in the heart of Jesus.

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN PRINCIPLES.

1.      According to what was written concerning Jesus Christ, He was betrayed and handed over to be crucified.

2.      Do not deny Jesus even in the face of trials and temptations

CHAPTER NINETEEN PRINCIPLES.

1.      Jesus crucifixion was not meant to be for 2000 years ago it is meant for you and I today to also crucify the flesh and be dead to the things of the world. Gal. 2:20

2.      There are, among religions of the world, some people who are secret disciples of Jesus like Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus.

CHAPTER TWENTY PRINCIPLES

1.      Jesus body cannot stay in the grave beyond three days according to prophecy. He overcame death and the grave.

2.      As a witness to His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples who have confirmed to us through the scriptures that Jesus is alive and has gone to Heaven to return and take us home soonest.

3.      To the unbelieving Thomas, Jesus showed Himself loving without condemnation.

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE PRINCIPLES

1.      Although they went to their former occupations probably out of frustration, Jesus never condemn His disciples. Rather He led them on the Job and fed them. Jesus is the all-sufficient of all times.

2.      Regardless of our fall into temptation, if we can repent swiftly, Jesus will love us dearly. Such was the case of Peter.



APOSTLE JOHN THE BELOVED IS DESCRIBED AS THE APOSTLE OF LOVE.
This is as a result of what he captured in his first, second and third letters.
He encouraged us to love one another. He however discouraged us from loving the world and things of the world.
We capture some Biblical Principles that can be applied to our lives in relation to Almighty God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and humanity as a whole. This God-kind of love (Agape) is not restricted to the church alone but extends to the whole humanity because God so love humanity that He gave Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for our sins that whosoever believes in Him should not Perish but have everlasting life. 

BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES FROM THE LETTERS OF APOSTLE JOHN THE BELOVED


 

CHAPTER ONE PRINCIPLES

1.      Whenever we gather as children of the Most High to fellowship, we have gathered to fellowship with our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

2.      As children of God walk in the light of God’s Word because God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all.

CHAPTER TWO PRINCIPLES

1.      JESUS is our advocate and defender, therefore whenever you sin, go to Him in faith, ask for forgiveness and discontinue from such acts.

2.      Knowing Jesus means keeping His commandment which is to love God with all our heart and all our soul and all our mind and all our might.

3.      To stay in the light –Jesus- you must love. (Agape)

4.      Do not hate. He who hate is a dead fellow and walks in darkness.

5.      Do not love the world nor the things in the world –lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life.

6.      Anyone who denies that Jesus came in the flesh is an anti-Christ

7.      Holy Spirit is the anointing in the life of a Christian to teach us aright


CHAPTER THREE PRINCIPLES

1.      God’s love for us is an overwhelming love.

2.      Our purity is strictly by the Word of God

3.      Whenever you commit sin you are of the devil

4.      When you are born again, you do not commit sin. To commit sin means to willingly give in to sin without reservations.

5.      Whoever does not love his brother or sister id dead while still alive

6.      You are classified as a murderer when you hate your brother or sister.

7.      Always share with those who do not have.

8.      Our love for each other must be in our doings and in truth.

9.      Jesus abides in us by the Holy Spirit.


CHAPTER FOUR PRINCIPLES

1.      Greater is Jesus in me than the devil and wicked ones in the world.

2.      He or she who loves to hear the Word of God has the Spirit of Truth and knows God.

3.      He or she who doesn’t love to hear God’s Word has the spirit of error and doesn’t know God.

4.      God is love. If God loves us then we need to love one another.

5.      Perfect love cast out fear.

6.      Claiming to love God while hating your neighbour makes you a liar.


CHAPTER FIVE PRINCIPLES

1.      Whoever is born of God overcomes the world. With our faith we overcome the world

2.      Divine Trinity simply means The Father, The Word and The Holy Spirit working together in unity

3.      When we ask anything according to the will of our Heavenly for us He hears us.

4.      All unrighteousness is sin.


2 JOHN PRINCIPLES

1.      Obeying God’s commandment = LOVE

2.      WHOEVER abides in the teaching of Jesus Christ has the Father and the Son

3.      Do not receive any other teaching which is unscriptural. The Bible has been the only relevant text throughout all ages.


3 JOHN PRINCIPLES

1.      Prosperity of the soul is the determinant factor for good health and progress in all areas of life.

2.      We must walk in the truth as did Gaius.

1.      Always be of good support to missionaries whenever they visit or on the mission field.

2.      We must not be as Diotrephes who was not hospitable to missionaries, nor subject to constituted authority and discourages those who want to do good to missionaries.

3.      Strife to be a Christian of good report.

SCRIPTURAL PRINCIPLES FROM THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES

 CHAPTERS 1-28

CHAPTER ONE PRINCIPLE

1. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a promise made by Jesus Christ to all His disciples then and now

2. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is meant to empower us to be witnesses of Jesus Christ.

3. Jesus shall, one day, return to take us home to the Father.

4. When you betray Jesus and forsake Him, God has better sons and daughters waiting to take up His Job you misappropriated.

 

CHAPTER TWO PRINCIPLES

1. It takes the baptism of the Holy Spirit to speak in tongues and He makes an excellent difference in our lives.

2. It takes the Holy Spirit to Preach the Gospel and win souls for Jesus.

3. It takes the Holy Spirit for the church to multiply

4. As believers in Christ we must live together with unity of purpose.

 

CHAPTER THREE PRINCIPLES

1. It takes the power in the name of Jesus and the Holy Spirit to heal any long term ailment

2. Use every opportunity to tell others about Jesus.

 

CHAPTER FOUR PRINCIPLES.

1. Secret of church multiplication is the Holy Spirit.

2. Do not be intimidated when authorities tells you not to talk about Jesus.

3. With the help of the Holy Spirit, ordinary people can do extraordinary things.

4. It is always good to one God than to obey ungodly authorities.

5. When Spirit-filled believers in Christ pray together in unity and Accord there must be a shaking and change.

6. Believers must have one heart and one soul. They must share things with the less privilege among them.

 

CHAPTER FIVE PRINCIPLES

1. Liars and deceivers have no place in God's kingdom.

2. Lie can terminates a Christian's life.

3. Holy Spirit can work through any consecrated and committed Christan to perform miracles.

4. It is an error when you attend church fellowship sick and return sick.

5. Men in authority may arrest you for preaching Jesus but be assured that there would be divine intervention that sets you free.

6. It is Jesus desire that God's Word be spoken everywhere by everyone.

7. You may be persecuted for preaching Jesus but rejoice because great is your reward.

 

CHAPTER SIX PRINCIPLES.

1. It takes the Holy Spirit in a believer's life and a good report to work for Jesus.

2. Anyone who must serve Jesus must be an obedient follower.

3. Order in the church h is a necessary tool for church multiplication.

4. Stephen's wisdom was irresistible because Holy Spirit was at work in him and through him.

 

CHAPTER SEVEN PRINCIPLES

1. It takes the Holy Spirit to teach the Word of God from known to the unknown.

2. When a Christian dies, he doesn't die but only changed his location from earthly to heavenly. We say such has transited from earthly to Heavenly.

 

CHAPTER EIGHT PRINCIPLES

1. Persecution of Christians was intended to shut down the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom but God used it as a platform to spread the Gospel to other places.

2. A times we fight against God when we feel we are fighting for God.

3. It can only take the Holy Spirit being the governing authority in a Christian's life to take over a city or community for Jesus.

4. The Gospel is about Jesus and His Kingdom; not about a sect, denomination or the head of a fraction of the church.

5. The gift and power of the Holy Spirit cannot be purchased with money.

6. In the work of salvation, Holy Spirit, Holy angels and sanctified christians are tools working together to achieve great revival.

 

CHAPTER NINE PRINCIPLES.

1. To discover your destiny you need a personal encounter with Jesus.

2. A divine encounter changes one's life automatically as in the case of Saul of Tarsus.

3. As a Christian do not view a new convert with his former way of life but see him or her as a brand new person.

4. Special miracles can happen through you as a Christian if you live a consistent sanctified life.

 

CHAPTER TEN PRINCIPLES.

1. God's best gift to mankind is salvation and Holy Spirit dwelling within us as in the case of Cornelius and his household.

2. Jesus was anointed by the Father with the Holy Spirit and power and he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil

 

CHAPTER ELEVEN PRINCIPLES.

1. Jesus invitation into God kingdom is for everyone- Jews and Gentiles.

2. You will be addressed by the virtues and vices you display.

3. It takes the help and influence of the Holy Spirit to become a genuine and dedicated disciple of Jesus.

 

CHAPTER TWELVE PRINCIPLES.

1. When a disciple of Jesus die as a result of persecution, it is because their time to leave has come.

2. When it is not a disciple's time to leave the earth, Good would always deliver him or her out of trouble.

3. It is loving and pleasing to Almighty God when the church come together and pray for one another.

4. Acknowledge God in all you do.

 

CHAPTER THIRTEEN PRINCIPLES.

1. There is an appointed time for every believer to start fulfilling purpose.

2. Between discovery of purpose and fulfilment is a training period or season.

3. Every Christian are called to a life of missions.

4. The preaching of the Gospel is enough to convince all human being.

 

CHAPTER FOURTEEN PRINCIPLES.

1. As a Christian missionary there are challenges one is bound to face but Jesus said ''I will be with you till the end of age''. Matt.28:20.

2. The miracle that happens to an unbeliever does not last except he or she turns to the Lord Jesus.

3. Always follow-up a new convert to ensure that they are properly rooted in Jesus Christ.

 

CHAPTER FIFTEEN PRINCIPLES.

1. Dialogue among Christians goes a long way to solve problems rather than unending argument.

2. Salvation in Jesus Christ is by faith and not by works of the law.

3. Sexual immorality, sacrifice to idols and uncleanness is not an acceptable principle for the church of Christ Jesus.

4. We may disagree but not disunite.

 

CHAPTER SIXTEEN PRINCIPLES.

1. In mission assignment, Holy Spirit must be referenced at all times otherwise we will be alone.

2. Teenagers and youths are important vessels in the hand of Jesus for missionary assignment.

3. Salvation is meant for all: rich and poor, all race on the earth.

4. Every unpleasant circumstance in the life of a Christian are meant to further the course of Jesus.

 

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN PRINCIPLES.

1. Persecution, although negative, but is a tool to further the course of Jesus Christ.

2. Listen to the Preacher but best of all search the Bible to confirm what you hear.

 

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN PRINCIPLES.

1. It doesn't matter the class or category of listeners, you speak the Word and let the Holy Spirit do the conviction and conversion.

2. More time may be spent on a field where Jesus has more souls to win.

3. Learn a skill and use it for income even if you are a full time or part-time missionary.

3. Move and work with people of like mind in the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

4. No matter how eloquent you may be stay teachable because it will take you to the next level in life.

5. Always report back to superiors or senior brothers in Christ. Do not run the race all by yourself.

 

CHAPTER NINETEEN PRINCIPLES

1. There is.an.assigned time.for territories to be taken by Jesus.

2. A Christian without the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a Christian outside the network of Jesus Christ.

3. Mission assignment demands much labour for fruitfulness.

4. Casting out demons is not the job of unbelievers.

5. The world will always wrestle against the word of God. They cannot accept it because it is alien to their existence.

 

CHAPTER TWENTY PRINCIPLES.

1. Jesus will always bring helpers of destiny to assist you in the mission work.

2. As a Christian, do not be an Eutychus

 

CHAPTER TWENTY ONE PRINCIPLES.

1. Christian Parents are expected to train up their children in the way of the Lord so as to be virtuous in all they do.

2. It is better to walk in the perfect will of God than in His permissive will.

3. Always heed to warnings and instructions of the Holy Spirit rather than being religiously stubborn.

 

 

CHAPTER TWENTY TWO PRINCIPLES.

1. To work for Jesus you must first and foremost know Him intimately and Personally.

2. No matter how much love or sympathy you have for people when the Holy Spirit instructs that you should leave, please leave.

 

CHAPTER TWENTY THREE PRINCIPLES.

1. Being religiously doesn't make me a kingdom citizen.

2. Maintain a cordial relationship with relative because they might be of help to you ministry.

3. People in position of authority will be doomed if they refuse to accept the Lordship of Jesus.

 

CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR PRINCIPLES.

1. No matter the effort and imput in an unassigned territory it will be an exercise in futility.

 

CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE AND TWENTY SIX PRINCIPLES.

1. A times, using our business or career skills helps our ministry and mission assignment.

2. Every Christian mission are to open the eyes of the spiritually blind, turn people from darkness to light and from Satan to God Almighty.

 

CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN PRINCIPLES.

1. God's Word and instruction supersedes professional theory.

2. In the end God's Word wins.

3. God is very merciful and compassionate. His love for one person can preserve many others from perishing.

 

CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT PRINCIPLES.

1. Wherever you are destined to function, there will always be salvation of souls and revival.

2. No matter the circumstances when you stay connected to Jesus, He will take you to the destination where your destiny must find expression.
